HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-203CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 22nd day of April 19 41— The following members were present: Mayor Ber an Councilmembers Helliwell Ricker Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 91- 203 APPROVING MIXED PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT PLAN CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AMENDMENT FOR LAUKKA/WILLIAMS PARKERS LAKE (91006) WHEREAS, Laukka/Williams Parkers Lake has requested approval of a Mixed Planned Unit Development Plan Conditional Use Permit amendment for property located at the southeast corner of Vicksburg Lane and 18th Avenue North, to allow construction of a six foot and eight foot perimeter fence and an eight foot fence along portions of Terraceview Lane; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Laukka/Williams Parkers Lake for a Mixed Planned Unit Development Plan Conditional Use Permit amendment to allow construction of a six foot and eight foot perimeter fence and an eight foot fence along portions of Terraceview Lane located at the southeast corner of Vicksburg Lane and 18th Avenue North, subject to the following findings and conditions: 1. The request is responsive to the Mixed Planned Unit Development Conditional Use Permit findings with respect to compatibility with the surrounding neighborhood. 2. Fence locations and heights are approved only consistent with plans last dated and revised February 28, 1991 and received by the City on March 1, 1991. 3. Consistency with applicable conditions and Resolution 87-618 approving the MPUD Plan and Resolution 89-504 modifying the height of certain privacy fences end Resolution 89-691 allowing fences in specific front yards. 4. No other amendments or variances are granted or implied. 5. Submission of a Site Improvement Performance Agreement and Financial Guarantee for the fences to be installed for completion of the improvement within one year of the date of this resolution. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Wuncilmember Ricker and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Rickeg llacilin» and Zitur The following voted against or abstained None the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
