HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-194CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call z:nd notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1st day of April 1991. The following members were present: Flavor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell Ricker_ Vasiliou_ and Zitu The following members were absent: None Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91- 194 SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT CITY VERSUS LEROY REINKE CITY PROJECT NO. 250 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth undertook a public improvement prof••^ct to improve County Road 6 by adding an interchange at I-494; and WHEREAS, as part of the project, it was necessary to acquire additional right-of-way from Leroy Reinke; and WHEREAS, the City was unable to negotiate the purchase of the right-of-way and began the condemnation process; and WHEREAS, as part of the condemnation process, the City and property owner have reached a proposed agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the "Settlement Agreement" between the City and Leroy Reinke for the purchase of the necessary right-of-way on County Road 6 in the total amount of $21,000 is approved and the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the agreement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coimrilmember Helliwell , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: 1KLUr Berman. Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and 7.itur ' The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
