Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the _ 1St._ day of April ,
1991. The following members were present: Nla).or BergiTian, Councilmembers H lliw_ll ,
RirkPr, Vasilinij and 7.1ttn
The following members were absent: Nnne
Cniinc iInyinhar llaci1in,i introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 91-191
16 FT. ROTARY MOWER
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the receipt of bids for the purchase of a 16
ft. Rotary Mower for the City of Plymouth, and
WHEREAS, said equipment is required to adequately provide City services, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with State Statue, bid specifications were prepared and
distributed and bid proposals received and opened on March 14, 1991, and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
M.T.I. Distributing Co w/Trade $42,055.00
Tri State Turf & Irrigation w/Trade 49,560.00
Midwest Turf & Irrigation w/Trade No Bid
WHEREAS, the bid of M.T.I. Distributing Co. is in conformance with the City
specifications for the 16 Ft. Rotary Mower and is therefore declared the lowest
responsible bidder, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That it should and hereby accept the bid of M.T.I. Distributing Co. in the
amount of $42,055. Further, that funds for this proposal are authorized from the
Central Equipment Fund (602-602).
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Co nrilmemher Helliwell , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Manor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and
Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
