HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-182CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regyular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the lst day of April 1991. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmen ers He lwe , _Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Helliwell introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-182 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A STREET AND UTILITY EASEMENT (VICKSBURG LANE) WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a street and utility easement adjacent to the northerly 209 feet of the easterly 280 feet of the north 1/2 of the northeast 1/4 of the northeast 1/4, Section 17, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for April 1, 1991 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of April 1, 1991; and WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on April 1, 1991, to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a street and utility easement (Vicksburg Lane); and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following street and utility easement be vacated: The street and utility easement over the west 20 feet of the east 60 feet of the following described property: The northerly 209 feet of the easterly 280 feet of the north 1/2 of the northeast 1/4 of the northeast 1/4, Section 17, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by _Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: r ayor Rergman.
