HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-178CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of March , 1921. The following members were present: Mayor Berg, Councilme_mbers Helliwell. Ricker Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Helliwell introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: 91-178 RESOLUTION NO. SELECTING A LAND ACQUISITION SPECIALIST FOR THE SELECTION OF THE PROPOSED COMMUNITY LIBRARY SITE ON PARCEL 21-118-22-22-0009 WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Board has budgeted the sum of $2.5 million for the construction of the community library in Plymouth on the condition that the City of Plymouth supply a site acceptable to the County Library Board; and WHEREAS, an appraisal on parcel no. 21-118-22-22-0009 has been obtained; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to proceed in the acquisition of this parcel for a community library site; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, that it should and hereby does select the firm of Wilson Development Services to act as land acquisition specialist on behalf of the City of Plymouth to acquire parcel identification no. 21-118-22-22-0009 in accordance with the proposal made by said firm and received and on file with the City. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ricker, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in .favor thereof: Mayor Bergms .
