HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-175I CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of r the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1 Rth day of March 1991. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell , Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91- 175 AWARDING BID FOR THE 1991 DISEASED TREE & STUMP REMOVAL WHEREAS, the Forestry Department will act on the 1991 Tree and Stump Removal from city owned lands; and WHEREAS, in accordance with City ordinances, bid specifications were prepared, and distributed to eight bidders and bid proposals received and opened March 5, 1991; and WHEREAS, the following bids were received: Golden Leaf Tree Service $25,450.00 Coolen Bros. Tree Service 30,725.00 WHEREAS, the bid of Golden Leaf Tree Service is in conformance with the City specifications for tree and stump removal and Golden Leaf Tree Service is therefore declared the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: that it should and hereby does accept the proposal of Golden Leaf Tree Service in the amount of $25,450.00. Further, that funds for this proposal are authorized from account NO. 206-206-810.25-001-000. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman. Comribnembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou and , Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. i Z
