Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day of
March 1991. The following were present: Mayor Bergman,
Councilmembers Helliwell. Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO.91- 173
AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR INSURANCE FOR THE 1991/1992 INSURANCE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase insurance coverage for potential
property and liability losses; and
WHEREAS, the City has previously solicited quotations for the necessary
insurance coverages; and
WHEREAS, the City received a quotation from the League of Minnesota Cities
Insurance Trust for $166,396, St. Paul Fire and Marine for $2,555, and
Hartford Insurance for $10,767, for the coverages and limitations set forth in
the Risk Management Coordinator's mean dated March 14, 1990;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT IMY RESMVED BY 7HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYKXMi, MINNESOTA, that the City Council award the contract for all
insurance coverages as indicated in the Risk Management Coordinator's mem, to
the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust for $166,396, St. Paul Fire and
Marine for $2,555, and Hartford Insurance for $10,767.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Acsolution was duly seconded by
Cnimcilmemher Zitur and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker,
Vas_ ;lion, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
