HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-148CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of March , 1921. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Mayor Bergman introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-148 ACCEPTANCE OF FISCAL IMPACT ANALYSIS OF PROPOSED DEVELOPMENTS - SPRINGSTED INC. REPORT WHEREAS, the City Council has received the report from Springsted Inc., entitled, "An Analysis of the Fiscal Impact of Proposed Future Development in the Northwest and North Central Municipal Utility Areas;" and WHEREAS, said report was undertaken at the request of the City Council in order that it might gain a clear insight into the cost impacts of extending public services to undeveloped land; and WHEREAS, the report indicates that existing, in-place property taxpayers would be impacted very moderately under the most conservative approach of analysis; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and considered the assumptions and conclusions of the report. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the report prepared by Springsted, Inc., being the same, is hereby accepted; and FURTHER, that the Council finds that the conclusions reached in the report appear to be reasonable based upon the assumptions underlined in the report. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Helliwell , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mavor Bergman. Councilmembers Helliwell. Ricker. Vasiliou,_ and The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
