Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz, 6; Johnson .,nd Kindeeth. Councilman Humphrey was absent. tCouncilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69-365 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for an elevated steel water tank bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement. i� BIDDER AMOUNT OF BID ii Chicago Bridge & Iron Co. $243,740.00 Spheroidal Tank 332 S. Michigan Ave. Chicago, Ill. 60604 Pittsburgh -Des Moines $225,000.00. Spheroidal Tank 1015 Tuttle St: }� Des Moines, Ia. 50308 i� and. WHEREAS, it appears that Pittsburg -Des Moines of Des Moines, Iowa is the lowest responsible bidder. 1 - '� NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF i; PLYMOUTH; { 1. The Mayor and Acting Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Pittsburgh -Des Moines of Des Moines, Iowa in the name of the Village of Plymouth for a Shperoidal Steel Water Tank, for $225,000.00, according to the plans and specifications approved by the Village Council. j 2. The Village Clerk is 'hereby authorized and directed to rete -n E� forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been i signed. " The motion for the adoption of the. foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hintz and upon vote being taken thereon, the i following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz, Johnson and Kindseth.
