HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-133CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reaular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day of March 1991. The following members were present: , Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker., Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Cotulcilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-133 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT CITY PROJECT NO. 034 SCHMIDT GARDENS TRUNK WATERMAIN WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on March 4, 1991, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: Water service to the Schmidt Gardens Subdivision west of County Road 101 and south of State Highway 55 by the installation of trunk watermain, facilities, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has bee- completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public ,spection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 1st day of April, 1991 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by .o m ilm mber Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Berman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
