HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-132CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day of March , 1991. The following members were present: Mayor Bergin -i, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker. Vasilioul and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91- 132 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT SCHMIDT GARDENS TRUNK WATERMAIN CITY PROJECT NO. 034 WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: Water service to the Schmidt Gardens Subdivision located west of County Road 101 and south of State Highway 55 by the installation of trunk watermain facilities, and all necessary appurtenances, and the City's current area charge is: water area - $1,580/acre or $790/1/2 acre lot residential property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. The portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $22,120. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be special assessed from such improvement against every accessible lot, piece of parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by the law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by CnimcilmemhPr Ricker—, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Berman, Councilmembers Helliwell Ricker, , _Vasiliou. and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
