HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-129CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the _4th day of March , 1921. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker--,- The icker, The following members were absent: Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-129 PERMANENT IMPROVEMENT REVOLVING FUND - TRANSFERS WHEREAS, the City Council has previously established a Permanent Improvement Revolving (PIR) fund for the purpose of providing infrastructure maintenance, construction and replacement; and WHEREAS, the initial planning for the PIR fund contemplated the allocation of funds to assist in the financing of a public safety building; and WHEREAS, the City has recently selected the joint venture firm of Polson/Trossen/Wright as architects for the public safety building, the project cost of which is estimated to be approximately $3,700,000; and WHEREAS, the City Manager in his report has recommended that funding for the public safety building be provided; and WHEREAS, the City Council has met and reviewed the City Manager's recommendations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that $3,700,000 be transferred from the Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund <404-404-96500-017-000> to the Construction Fund <401-000-50100-017-000>. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ricker 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
