HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-103CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was heTd on the 4th day of March 1991 The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 91-103 ADOPTING RESIDENTIAL ANTIDISPLACEMENT/RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PLAN WHEREAS, the City Council under Resolution 90-750 authorized submission of the City of Plymouth Final Statement to the Department of Housing and Urban Development relative to the Community Development Block Grant Program; and, WHEREAS, the City's application and Final Plan included references and certifications as to citizen participation, goal establishment, and implementation plans and procedures; and, WHEREAS, the City has been informed that, in addition to certification regarding compliance with Federal law relative to Antidisplacement and Relocation Assistance, the City must also have a plan which heretofore was unneeded due to participation by the City in the Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Program; and, WHEREAS, Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority has reviewed the draft plan and has recommended approval; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted a duly called Notice of Public Hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that it should and hereby does approve and adopt the "Residential Antidisplacement/Relocation Assistance Plan" pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, dated March, 1991, as City Policy; FURTHER, the City Manager is hereby directed to submit the adopted plan to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for inclusion in the City's Final Statement for the Community Development Block Grant Program. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Helliwell and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell Ricker Vasi iou and Zitur The -following voted against or abstained None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
