HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-087CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 28th day of January, 1921. The following members were present: Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, VasMayor Bergman The following members were absent: Councilmember Zitur Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-87 APPOINTMENT OF REPRESENTATIVES TO THE ELM CREEK TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND THE ELM CREEK TASK FORCE WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission is creating two bodies for the purpose of developing a facility plan for the Elm Creek interceptor; and WHZREAS, the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission has requested that the City select a staff member to serve on the Elm Creek Technical Advisory Committee, and a councilmember to serve on the Elm Creek Task Force; and WHEREAS, the Council believes it is important for the City to play an integral role in the development of this plan given the sewer's affect on future development of the community; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth that it should and hereby does appoint Fred Moore to serve on the Elm Creek Technical Advisory Committee, and Kim M. Bergman to serve on the Elm Creek Task Force; AND FURTHER, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Chief Administrative Officer of the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmembmber Helliwell, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Helliwell, Ricker Vasiliou, Bergman The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
