HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-083CITY OF PUN= Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on 28th day of January 11 19 91 . The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, and Vasiliou The following members were absent: Councilmember Zitur Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION NO. 91-83 APPROVING SETTING PARK DEDICATION FEES FOR 1991 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has A policy setting forth park dedication fees for residential and commercial/industrial property, and WHEREAS, the City Assessor has concluded that undeveloped residential property is selling for approximately $20,000 per acre, and undeveloped commercial/industrial property for approximately $50,000 per acre, and WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended that a park dedication fee of $860 per dwelling unit be set for residential property and that a fee of $3,500 per acre be used for commercial/industrial property, and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said recommendation and finds this recommendation to be appropriate, based on the assessor's undeveloped land value estimates, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the 1991 park fees shall be $860 per residential dwelling unit and $3,500 per acre for commercial/industrial property effective March 1, 1991. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly asoonded by Councilmember Helliwell , and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mavor Ber4man, Councilmembers Helliwell and Ricker The following voted against or abstained: Councilmember Vasiliou Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
