HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-068CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 28th day of January 1991. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, and Vasiliou ' , The following members were absent: Councilmember Zltur Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91- 68 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 4 AND FINAL 25TH AVENUE TRUNK WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO. 908 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and F.F. Jedlicki, Inc. as contractor, have entered into an agreement for 25th Avenue Trunk Watermain Improvements, City Project No. 908, said agreement being dated July 12, 1990; and WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $239,486. No change orders were approved and the value of the work to date is $217,324.26 and is herewith approved. This project underran the contract amount by $22,161.74 or approximately 9.3%. 2. That the work performed by the Contractor for 25th Avenue Trunk Watermain Improvements and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 4 and Final in the amount of $27,854.47 to F.F. Jedlicki, Inc. for 25th Avenue Trunk Watermain Improvements is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Helliwell , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker,and , Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
