Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 28th —day of January
1991. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmember ,
Helliwell, Ricker, and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: Councilmember Zitur
Councilmember Vasiliou

introduced the following Resolution and moved its
RESOLUTION NO. 91- 56
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
A PORTION OF A ROADWAY EASEMENT (VICKSBURG LANE)
DOCUMENT NO. 4629877
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a portion of a roadway easement within
Parcel 17-118-22-13-0001; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for January 28,
1991 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of January 28,1991; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by
mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on January 28, 1991 to inform any and
all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said street easement; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following:
All those street and utility easements created by Document No. 4629877 over
the east 60 feet of the following described property:
The Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 and the North 1/2 of the
Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4, and the South 3/8ths of the West 1/2
of the Northeast 1/4, all in Section 17, Township 118, Range 22;
Excepting from said vacation the following:
A perpetual easement for street and utility purposes lying over, under,
across and through the Easterly 60 feet of the North 1/2 of the
Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 17, Township 118, Range
22, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell. Ricker. and Vasiliou ,
The following voted against or abstained: Councilmember Zitur
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
