HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-037CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 2th day of January, 1991. The following members were present: Counc 7members Helliwell, Ricker, Zitur, Dgputy_Mayor Vaailiou The following members were absent: Mayor Bergman Councilmember Ricker introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-37 APPROVING OFF -SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE WITH CONDITIONS FOR THE PERIOD FEBRUARY 1, 1991 TO JANUARY 31, 1992 WHEREAS, the City has received an application from Bass Lake Bottle Shop, Inc., 11540 County Road 10, for renewal of an off - sale intoxicating liquor license for the period February 1, 1991, through January 31, 1992; and WHEREAS, the Police Department investigation determined that real estate taxes for the year 1990 are delinquent, and WHEREAS, Plymouth City Code, Section 1206.43, provides that, "No license shall be granted for operation on any premises on which state, city, or county taxes, assessments, or other financial claims of the state, city or county are delinquent and unpaid," and WHEREAS, all required certificates of insurance have not been provided. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth that an off -sale intoxicating liquor license is hereby granted to Bass Lake Bottle Shop, Inc., 11540 County Road 10, for the period February 1, 1991, through January 31, 1992, with the following conditions: 1. That certificates of liquor liability and workers compensation insurance shall be provided to the City Clerk by January 31, 1991, and 2. That proof of payment of all delinquent real estate taxes against the parcel shall be provided to the City Clerk by January 31, 1991. Res. No. January 7, 1991 If either of these conditions is not met by January 31, 1991, the license renewal will not be effective. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmambar Zitur and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Helliwell. Ricker, Zitur- Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
