Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the iLh day of
January, 1991. The following members were present: Councilmemhers Helliwell.
Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: Mayor Bergman
Couneilmembam Ricker introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 91-12
AUTHORIZING A CERTIFIED COPY OF THE CITY'S PLANNING AND LAND USE REGULATIONS
TO BE RECORDED WITH THE COUNTY RECORDER
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 462.36 authorizes municipalities to record a
certified copy of their subdivision regulations with the County Recorder;
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth's subdivision regulations are set forth in
Chapter 5 of the Plymouth City Code;
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 272.162 provides that a municipality may choose to
have the provisions of Minnesota Statute 272.162, pertaining to restrictions
on transfers of parcels of land, applied to property within the municipality;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, as follows:
1. The City of Plymouth Chooses to have Minnesota Statute 27,2.162
applied to property within its boundaries.
2. The City Manager is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this
resolution with the County Auditor and County Recorder.
3. The City Manager is hereby directed to file a certified copy of the
City's planning and land use regulations as set forth in Chapter V of
the City Code with the County Auditor and County Recorder.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Counailmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmr+nt+ers Helliwell, Ricker,,_
Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
