HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1991-002CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of January 1991. The following members were present: Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur ' The following members were absent: Mayer Bergman Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91-2 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS WITHIN LOT 8, BLOCK 3, SWAN LAKE WEST WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain utility and drainage easements in Lot 8, Block 3, Swan Lake West Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for January 7, 1991 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of January 7, 1991; and WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on January 7, 1991, to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a utility and drainage easement in Lot 8, Block 3 in Swan Lake West Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following utility and drainage easement be vacated: The northwesterly 6 feet of Lot 8, excepting therefrom the northeasterly and southwesterly 10 feet thereof, Block 3 Swan Lake West, Plymouth, Minnesota. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by ,ouncilmember Helliwell and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained• None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
