VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
fPLYUOUTH? MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
? Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was held on the Ist day of
i October, 1969, commencing at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the Beacon Heights
j
Elementary School, 12315 Highway 655. The`following`members were presents
Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz, Humphrey and Kindseth. The following members

were absent: Councilman Johnson
I Councilman Hintz introduced the following Resolution and moved its
:1 adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 69-351
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AND ADOPTING
THE ASSESSMENT"FOR
STREET LIGHTING IN CREEKWOOD HEIGHTS
WHEREAS, pursuant'to'due and proper notiece according to law an assess-
ment hearing was held on the lst day of October, 1969, relating to street-
lighting costs for Creekwood Heights and,
WHEREAS, all person present desiring; to be heard were heard and their:
objections if any, were noted
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS:
"1. The Acting Village Clerk has, with the assistance of the Village•,
Treasurer heretofore selected by this council for such purpose,
calculated the proper amoun.s to be specially assess for attieet
lighting in Creekwood Heights against every assessable lot,
piece or parcel of land, in accordance with the provisions of law,,
and: has prepared and filed in his office. tabulated statements
In duplicateshowing the proper description of each and every
lot, piece or parcel of land to be specially assessed in the amount
calculated against the same,
2. Notice has been duly published as required' -by law that this council `
would meet in regular session at thistimeand place to pass on the
proposed assessment.
3. The proposed assessment has at all times since its filing been open
to inspection and copying;by all persons interested, an" an opportuni
has been givento all interested person to present their objections,
If any, to such proposed assessment., or,to any item thereof, and
no objections have been filed.

in the amount ,in said proposed assessment set opposite the descrip- `
tion of each such lot, piece or par -cel of land and that said amount
is bereby levied and assessed.

{, 5. Such proposed assessment is a#finned, adopted and confirmed, and the
sums fixed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment
° with the changes and alterations hereinabove made are affirmed, adot
adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of
said lots, pieces or parcels of land respectively.
6. Said assessment so affirmed, adopted and confirmed shall be certified
to by the Village Clerk and filed 'in his office and shall thereupon
r be and constitue the special assessment for street lighting costs
for Creekwood Heights.

7. The amounts assessed against each lot, piece or parcel of land
1� shall bear interest from the date hereof until the same have been
it paid at the rate of zero percent per annum.

S. Such assessments shall be payable in one equal annual installments
IS payable on the 1st day of,january in each year, beginning in the
year 1970, and continuing until all of said installments shall have
z been paid, each installment to be collected with taxes collectable
during said year by the County.Auditor. To the.first installment
a shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date hereof
�j to December 31, 1?69. To: each subsequent installment shall be added
interest for one year on ail unpaid installments.
!j 9. The Village Clerk is hereby direcW to make up and file in the office -:
of the County Auditor of Hennepin County"a certified statement of the
�. amount of all of such unpaid assessments and the amount which will be
due thereon on the lot day of January in each year.'"
The above motion was seconded by Councilman Humphrey and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof; Mayor Hilda, Councilmen
IHintz, Humphrey and Kindseth. No one voted against.

Whereupon said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
