OF VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
-August 25, 1969
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special
meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was
held on August 25, 1969 at the Village Hall, 13800 State
Highway No. 55, commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following
members were present: Councilmen Hinta, Johnso-i ani Humphrey.

The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde and Councilman
Kindseth.

resolution and moved its adoption:
"RESOLUTION NO. 69- 295
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING DEMI B. BARNES ACTING
VILLAGE CLERK -ADMINISTRATOR AND FURTHER APPOINTING
CAROLINE HANF DEPUTY VILLAGE CLERK
WHEREAS, Gerald G. Splinter, Clerk -Administrator of

the Village of Plymouth, r4innesota is terminating his position
with the Village effective -:August 25; , 1969 and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that there be an interim
appointment to this position until a permanent replacement can
be found and,
I
WHEREAS, it is further necessary that there be a
Deputy Clerk designated to fulfill the duties of the office in
the absence of the duly designated acting Clerk. 1
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE

COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLY14OUTH An FOLLOWS:
1. Effective September S, 1969 Dewan B. Barnes
is hereby designated as the acting Clerk -Administrator
of the Village of Plymouth and effective such date
