meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was

Councilman Johnson introduced the following .
resolution and moved its adoption:
"RESOLUTION NO. 69 227
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ENLARGED
SANITARY SEWER FORCE 14AIII FROM THE PL)D4OUTH
VILLAGE LIMITS TO ITS CONNECTION WITH THE
SANITARY SEWER OF THE CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS
WHERAS, the Village of Plymouth has entered into a
contract with the City of Minneapolis to permit Plymouth to
connect its sanitary sewer system to the sanitary sewer system
of the City of Minneapolis and,
WHEREAS, said connection will be accomplished by.the
construction of a force main from the southeasterly limits of
the Village of Plymouth along State Trunk Highway No., 55'to'
Dupont Avenue North in the City of 14inneapolis and,
WHEREAS, the construction of such force mains has been
approved by the Metropolitan Council subject to a declaration
by the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth that such
force mains will be enlarged to a size sufficient to accom-
modate the sanitary sewage systems of the Villages of New Hope
and Golden Valley,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE
COUNCIL OF THE: VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH A5 FOLLOWS:
1. The consulting engineer for the Village of
Plymouth is hereby authorized to enlarge the design
of the force main which is to run from the Plymouth
Village limits to Dupont Avenue North in the City of
Minneapolis to a size sufficient to accommodate the
sanitary sewage systems of the Villages of New Hope
and Golden Valley on the condition that said Villages
of New Hope and Golden Valley agree to reimburse the
Village of Plymouth for all costs and expenses attribu-
table to such enlargement based upon proportionate
sewage flow including engineering costs as well as
construction costs.
Z. The Clerk -Administrator is hereby directed to
send certified copies of this resolutton to the
Metropolitan Council, the Villages of New Hope and
Golden Valley and to any other appropriate agencies and
governmental units."
The above motion was seconded by Councilman Hintz
and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz, Johnson, Kindseth.an3d

Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted.

co=lete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to
apprpving_•an-enlarged janitary sewer force main from the
Plymouth Village limits to its connection with the sanitary
sewer of the City of Minneapolis.
