HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1969-219z VaLL11GR OF PLYMOUTH i► PMOLUTION ATPRAVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS D ORDEMG ADVERTISEMENT ,FOR;BYDS ' Pursuant to do* call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the i# Village Council of tha Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 7th day of July, 1969. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, +'s Kindseth and Rumphrey. The following members were absent: Councilman Hintz Louncilman Humphrey introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO 69-219 WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution passed by the Council on March 17, 19690 the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications on water main extension on South Shore boulevard from 13th Avenue to 19th Avenue, 19th Avenue from South Shore Boulevard to Lancaster Lane, Lancaster Lane from 19th Avenue to 26th Avenue and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval: NOW THEREFORE, BE IT BESOLVED By THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: THE DIRECTION OF THE,; ENGINEER TO PROCEED WITH THE WATER INSTALLATION FROM 13th to 26th AVENUES NORTH AND TO ORDER BIDS FOR THE SAME. 1. "Such plans and specifications,,,,a copy of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof-.'anx hereby approved. 2. The Village Clerk shall prepalEe and cause to bs inserted in the official `paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advs:ictiesment for bids upon the asking of such improvement under such approval plans and specifications. °jhe-advertisement shall be published for two weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opeeed'and considered by the Council at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July=31, 1969, in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, and that oa *lds will be considered u44 0 sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a<°cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for S percent of the amount of such bid." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Ililde, Councilmen Johnson. Yindseth, and Humphrey. mo one voted against.
