HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1969-210F VILLAGE OP"PLYIiDd`TH Pursuant to due call and nonce thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of July, 1909- The following umbers were present: 1; Mayor Hilde, Councilmen John3on, Kindseth and Humphrey. The following (F� members were absent: Councilman Mintz. f Councilman Kindseth introduced the following Resolution and mrnred its adoption: fe** RESOLUTION NO. 69-210 WHEREAS, The Plymouth Village Council adopted a policy for assessing i I water main installations. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF r� THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1 1. That if any public improvement adjoins village property the i Village shall assume an assessment equal to the adjoining t properties for the, improvement. t ( 2. That assessments of unbuildabie lots be deferred until much 1 time as the lot is buildable and that the interest on this jassessment be computed at the time when the loth 1 buildable. r 3. That in residential areae any water main pipe over 6^ be considered as overstaing and cost for such oversising be assumed out of the water operating fund. Also, that it generally in an industrial -commercial area anything above j 8" water main pipe be considered oversiting. However, this policy may be varied where the water demand dight be very'`," I high for a particular type or group of industries. The I? Zouncil would then decide on a ease by ease basis. The motion for the ,adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Johnson, and upon vote being taken thereon. the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilman Johnson. Kiaadsath and Humphrey. No one voted against. Whereupon, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. i. li
