OF VILLAGE COU14CIL OF
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
June 23, 1969
to due call and notice thereof a special
meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was
held on June 23, 1969 at the Village Hall, 13800 State Highway
No. 55, commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members
were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz, Johnson,
Kindseth and Humphrey. The following members were absent: tion

Councilman Humphrey introduced the following
resolution and moved its adoption:
"RESOLUTION NO. 69-202
A RESOLUTION URGING THE APPOINTMENT OF
MILTON C. HONSEY
TO THE METROPOLITAN SEWER SERVICE BOARD
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 449, Laws of Minnesota, 1969,
there was authorized the establishment of a Metropolitan
Sewer Sarvice Board, and
WHEREAS, the Honorable Milton C. Honsey, Mayor of New _
Hope, Minnesota, has for a great many years been a leading
advocate and proponent of a metropolitan sanitary sewage system,
and
WHEREAS, said Milton C. Honsey has been a member of the
Suburban Sanitary Sewer Commission since its formation which
commission has devoted itself to a cooperative effort among
numerous suburban communities to create a realistic and
efficacious method of sanitary sewage disposal, and
;. .
WHEREAS, said Milton C. Honsey has been one of the
most highly respected public servants in the State of
Minnesota and has become widely known for his leadership in
the effort to establish a metropolitan wide system of sanitary
sewage disposal,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Village of Plymouth strongly
supports the appointment of the Honorable Milton C.
Honsey as a member of the Metropolitan Sewer Service
Board and earnestly solicits the Metropolitan Council
to appoint said Milton C. Honsey to said board.
2. The Village Clerk -Administrator is hereby
directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution
to the Metropolitan Council and to Mr. Donald Dayton,
who is the member of the Metropolitan Council
representing the area in which the Village of Plymouth
is located."
The above motion was seconded by
and -upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz, Johnson, Kindseth and
Humphrey. The following voted against: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk -Administrator of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota,
hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached
and foregoing extract of minutes of a special meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth held June 23, 1969
with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is
a full, true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as
the same relates to urging the appointment of Milton C. Honsey
to the Metropolitan Sewer Service Board.
