RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of
May, 1969.
The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Coc.cilmen Johnson,
Kindseth and Hintz. Councilman Humphrey was absent.
Councilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 69-159
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of
the following streets, to -wit:
IVANHOE WOODS AND QUAKER LANE WATER PROJECT NO. 68 -OA
IVANHOE WOODS QUAKER LANE
BLOCKS 1, 2, 3 AND 4 PHEASANT HILL PLAT,
SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 118, BLOCKS 1, 2, AND 3
RANGE 22

NORTHDALE CONSTRUCTION INC. FOR: $72,887.00

bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement.

WHEREAS, it appears that Northdale Construction Company of 5739 West Broadway
Minneapolis, Minnesota 55428 is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH.
"1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
the attached contract with Northdale Construction, Company of
Minneapolis, Minnesota in the name of the Village of Plymouth for the
improvement of the following streets, to -wit:
IVANHOE WOODS - QUAKER LANE WATER
PROJECT 68 -OA
by
according to the plans and specifications therefor -:approved by the
Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk.
2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits
of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until a contract has been signed."
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Hintz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Kindeeth and Hintz.
The following were absent: Councilman Humphrey
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk -Administrator
of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting
of the Village Council of said village held the 26th day of May, 1969, with
the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and
complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same related to the Ivanhoe
Woods and Quaker Lane WAter Project No. 68 -OA.
