VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOT...
April 28, 1969
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was held on
April 28, 1969 at the Village Hall, 13800 State Highway No. 55,
commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following nembers were
present: Mayor Al Hilde, Jr., Councilmen Hintz, Johnson,
and Humphrey. The following members were absent: Vie.
introduced the following
resolution and moved its adoption:
"RESOLUTION 1;0. 69- 114
A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF HOUSE FILE
NO. 2792 AND URGING THE 9TATL LEGISLATURE
OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA TO ADOPT SAME
WHEREAS, for several months the Village Council of the
Village of Plymouth, Minnesota and the Minnesota Highway
Department have been engaged in negotiation for the location
of certain maintenance and other facilities of the Highway
Department within the,Village of Plymouth, and
WHERZAS,'the Village of Plymouth has obtained the right
to acquire -land on Fernbrook Lane in the Village of Plymouth
suitable for such.facilities, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Plymouth is desirous of malting
an imuttediate purchase of -such property and thereafter convexing
the same to the State of Minnesota for use by the Minnesota
Highway Department., and

such time as Oe Highway Department has sold and disposed of
other.,Unds it now owns, within,the,village, and
WHEREAS, in order to achieve these desirable results the
Village requires special authorization from the Logislature of
the State of Minnesota to sell its general obligstion bonds so
that it may make such°purchase of said property, and
WHEREAS, the purchase and conveyance of said property
as set out 'above it ,`desirable from the standpoint of good --
