HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1969-0951 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF VILLAGE COUNCIL OF VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA April 21, 1969 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was held on April 21, 1969 at the Village Hall, 13800 State Highway .No. 55, commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hwaphrey, Hintz, Johnson and Kindseth. The following members were absent: None. Councilman Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its .adoption: "RESOLUTION NO. 69-95 A RESOLUTION VAChTING A DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT IN PORTIONS OF BEACON HEIGHTS FIRST ADDITION AND PLYMOUTH ORCHARDS WHEREAS, the owners of Block Seven (`7) in Beacon Heights First Addition and.Lot One (l) in Block A Plymouth Orchards have petitioned for the vacation and abandonment of a 10 foot utility easement along the westerly boundary of Block Seven (7) in Beacon Heights First Addition which boundary is a common boundary between said Block Seven (7) and Lot One (1) . Block A Plymouth Orchards, and WHEREAS, pursuant to the appropriate resolution and the publication of notices as required by law a public hearing on sa proposed vacation was held before the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth on the 21st day of April, 1969, and WHEREAS, at such hearing all persons desiring to be heard were invited to be so heard, and WHEREAS, no persons appeared at such hearing requesting to be heard on the proposal, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1. Thetitility easement under, over and across the Nest 10 feet of all of Block Seven (7) in Beacon Heights First Addition according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Hennepin County, Minnesota may be and hereby is declared to be vacated and such easement is to be of no further force and effect. 2. Clerk -Administrator is directed to transmit to the owners of said property a certified copy of this resolution." The above motion was seconded by Councilman Hintz and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Humphrey, Hintz, Johnson and Kindseth. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH ) 1, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting clark- administrator of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Villa Council of said village held April 21, 1969, with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to vacating a drainage and utility easement in portions of Beacon Heights First Addition and Plymouth Orchards.
