HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1969-050VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of March, 1969. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Pagan, Johnson, Hintz and Councilman Humphrey, who arrived late due to business reasons. There were no absent members. Councilman Humphrey introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69-50 WHEREAS: a Resolution of the Village Council adopted the 18th day of December, 1968 fixed the 6th day of February, 1969 as the date for a, public hearing on the proposed sanitary sewer and water improvement project /68-1E, in the Southwest area of Plymouth. WHEREAS: all property owners whose property is liable to be assessed for the malting of these Improvements, were given ten days' published notice of the Council hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice and the 'nearing was held and property owners heard on the 6th day of February, 1969. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such improvements as set out above and for the streets as above indiaated are hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution adopted March 3, 1969. 2. The Village Engineer is hereby directed to proceed on final plans and specifications for the making of such improvements, except those areas designated to be deleted from the lateral service, but everyone to receive an area assessment. 3. The Engineer to go out with bids as early as possible in 1969 with roads installed in 1970. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hagen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Council— Hagen, Hintz, Johnson and Humphrey. There were none who voted against or abstained. Whereupon the Resolution vis declared duly passed and adopted. • -2- 069-50 STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HUMPIN ) SS. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting clerk of the Village cf Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said Village held an March 3, 1969, with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete tran- script therefrom insofar as the same relates to Project 068-1E, installation of water and sewer in the Southwest area of Plymouth.
