RESOLUTION No. 2013-294
RECEIVING ENGINEERING PROPOSALS AND DESIGNATING THE CONSULTING ENGINEER
FOR VICKSBURG LANE FROM SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD TO MAPLE GROVE BORDER
RECONSTRUCTION AND EXTENSION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 16001
WHEREAS, the Vicksburg Lane Reconstruction and Expansion Project is listed in the
2013-2017 Capital Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, a request for proposal was sent to four engineering firms that have expertise
in environmental review, roadway and utility design, and right of way acquisition; and
WHEREAS, two proposals were received and evaluated by city staff, and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that SRF Consulting Group, Inc. be designated as the
consulting engineer for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, SRF Consulting Group, Inc. is designated as
the City's consulting engineer for environmental documentation, design engineering, and right of
way acquisition services of the Vicksburg Lane Reconstruction and Expansion Project, City
Project No. 16001 in the amount of $560,619.00.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, the Mayor and City Manager are
hereby authorized to sign the Supplemental Agreement for Professional Engineering Services.
