FF Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17t day of December
1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell
Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: None
Colzicilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-809
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A ROADWAY EASEMENT

WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a roadway easement (Annapolis Lane
Extension) within Parcel 22-'18-22-22-0003; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for December 17,
1990 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of December 17, 1990; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by
10 mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on December 17, 1990 to inform any and
all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said roadway easement; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following roadway easement be vacated:
That part of the North half of the North half of the Northwest quarter of
Section 22, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as
beginning at the Southeast corner of Edman Addition; thence North to the
Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 1, Edman Addition; thence East, parallel
with the North line of said Northwest quarter 270 feet; thence North parallel
with the West line thereof 120 feet; thence East parallel with said North
line 231.20 feet; thence North 100 feet to the North line of said Northwest
quarter; thence East along said North line to the Westerly line of Interstate
Highway No. 494; thence Southwesterly along said Highway to the South line of
the North half of the North half of the Northwest quarter of Section 22;
thence Westerly along said South line to the point of beginning.
DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENT:
A perpetual easement 70 feet in width for public roadway purposes over, under
and across the above described parcel, the centerline of such easement being
described as follows:

Commencing at the Northwest :,rner of the Northwest quarter of Section 22,
Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota; thence on an assumed
bearing of South 89 degrees, 55 minutes, 32 seconds East along the North line
of said Northwest quarter 1219.42 feet to the actual point of beginning of
the centerline to be described; thence South 0 degrees, 04 minutes, 28
seconds West 40 feet; thence South 18 degrees, 08 minutes, 19 seconds West
120.17 feet; thence south 40 degrees, 14 minutes, 33 seconds West 120.17
feet; thence South 58 degrees, 18 minutes, 24 seconds West 525 feet and there
terminating.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman. Councilmembers fielliwC H, Ricker, V—,;i-linu ,
and Zitur _
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
