Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held
on the 10th day of December , 192Q.. The following members
were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell Ricker
Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-805
AUTHORIZING REMODELING WORK TO BE ACCOMPLISHED
AT FIRE STATION II
WHEREAS, the City Council has established a Remodeling Committee
consisting of Public Safety and City Council representatives; and
WHEREAS, the Committee has met on two separate occasions to
discuss possible options for remodeling or expanding the Fire
Station II building; and
WHEREAS, the Committee has recommended that the existing building
be remodeled in order to meet current and future needs; and
WHEREAS, the Property Management Coordinator has estimated the
cost for said remodeling not to exceed $103,950; and
WHEREAS, that the City Council is desirous of completing work
which can be proved to be cost effective as outlined in the
October 24, 1990 memorandum which summarizes the October 17, 1990
meeting recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does,
authorize the remodeling of Fire Station II in accordance with
the three categories set forth in the Wednesday, October 17, 1990
meeting minutes at a cost not to exceed $103,950; and
FURTHER, that the Property Management Coordinator is directed to
coordinate the project to ensure that the work completed is in
conformance with the October 17, 1990 minutes and that the work
which is completed is demonstrated to be cost effective.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Councilmember Ricker, and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman,
Cou_ncilmembers Helliwell, Ricker Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
