HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-802CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of December ; 1990. The followin members were present: , Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwel1, Ricer, Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-802 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT FOR PONDING PURPOSES LOT 2, BLOCK 1 RIDGECREST 3RD ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Michael and Peggy Rabin have petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following drainage easement for ponding purposes: Commencing at a point on the westerly line of Lot 2 distant 122.00 feet southeasterly along said westerly line of the most westerly corner of said Lot 2 Lo the southeasterly line of said easement; thence north 61 degrees, 14 minutes, 40 seconds east assumed bearing along the southeasterly line of said easement 6.05 feet to the point of beginning of a tract of land to be herein described; thence north 21 degrees, 23 minutes, 46 seconds west 46.65 feet; thence north 74 degrees, 06 minutes east 80.00 feet; thence south 43 degrees, 53 minutes, 23 seconds east 29.49 feet to said southeasterly line; thence south 61 degrees, 14 minutes, 40 seconds west along said southeasterly line 91.67 feet to the point of beginning, all in Block 1, Lot 2 Ridgecrest 3rd Addition according the recorded plat thereof Hennepin County, Minnesota. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of January 7, 1991 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
