'Grsuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 10th day
of December , 19990 The following members were
present: Mayor Berman, Councilmembers IIelliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou. and ?it>>r
The following members were absent: None
_Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption.
RESOLUTION NO. 90-77'
APPROVING APPEAL OF THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS FOR RALPH AND
SHARON KLEIN, 3740 WELLINGTON LANE NORTH (11-01-90)
WHEREAS, Ralph Klein has appealed the Ruling of the Board of Zoning Adjustments and
Appeals denying a 3 foot Variance from the minimum side yard setback of 10 feet, in
order to expand the existing two car garage into a three car garage with a second
story addition and deck over the garage; and a 3 foot Variance from the minimum
front yard setback of 35 feet for the installation of wood columns from the roof
above the overhead garage dors, and,
OEREAS, the Board of Zoning Adjustments and Appeals has reviewed said request at a
duly called Public Hearing on November 13, 1990 and denied the request;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the appeal by Ralph and Sharon
Klein and approves a 3 foot Variance to allow a 7 foot side yard setback to expand
the existing two car garage into a three car garage with a second story addition and
a deck over the garage, together with a 3 foot Variance to allow a 32 foot front
yard setback for the installation of wood columns from the roof above the overhead
garage doors at 3740 Wellington Lane North for the following reason -
1. The Variance Criteria have been met.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Mayor Berman , and upon vote being taking thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell Ricker Vasiliou,
