Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 79th day of
Novambar, 1990_ The following members were present: Mayor Bergman"
Cnunri tfnrmharm Halliwall, Rinkkers and Zitur
The following members were absent: Councilmember Vaailiou
Councilmembax Ricker introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 90-770
AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO OPTION AGREEMENTS TO
ACQUIRE PROPERTY FOR THE CDBG YEAR XV SCATTERED SITE HOUSING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the expenditure of Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds for Program Year XV to provide assistance
to home ownership referred to as the Scattered Site Housing Program; and,
WHEREAS, City staff has identified properties in the City appropriate to serve
as a resource for the Scattered Site Housing Program and desires to secure one
or more purchase options on those properties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that is should and hereby does authorize the City Manager
to enter into such option agreements as are required precedent to requesting
authorization to purchase said properties.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmamhor Zitur , and upon voce being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Berta, Counci mem er•
Heltiwall, Ricker, and 2itur
The following voted against or abstained None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
