Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
5±J1 day of November, 1990. The following members were present:
Mayor Bergman, Council""ers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou and
Zai Mr
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-746
APPOINTMENT OF MAYOR KIM M. BERGMAN
TO PLYMOUTH CIVIC LEAGUE
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Civic League was formed to sponsor civic
activities for the enjoyment of Plymouth residents and to promote
the community's identity; and
WHEREAS, the City has been a major financial contributor to the
Plymouth Civic League, particularly in support of the annual
Music In Plymouth event; and
WHEREAS, the Council deems it important to have a member of its
body serve on the Board of Directors of the Plymouth Civic League
so as to foster and improve communications between the two
bodies;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plymouth that Mayor Kim M. Bergman be and the same is hereby
appointed as the City's representative to the Plymouth Civic
League.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Mayor Bergman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmebbrs
Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur. The following voted
against or abstained: None Whereupon the resolution was
declared duly passed and adopted.
