Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of
November , 1990. The following members were present: ,
--Mayor Bergman Councilmembers Helliwell Ricker Vasiliou and Zitur. ,
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adc:7tion:
RESOLUTION NO. 90-741
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 4 AND FINAL
DEEP WELL NO. 12 - PUMPING FACILITY
CITY PROJECT NO. 909
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Glendale Contracting, Inc. as
contractor, have entered into an agreement for Deep Well No. 12 - Pumping
Faciilty, City Project No. 909, said agreement being dated April 9, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his
approval of the final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $201,935, one change
order was approved in the amount of $12,062.12, and the
value of the work to date is $212,191.12 and is herewith
approved.
2. That the work performed by the Contractor for Deep Well No.
12 - Pumping Facility, and certified to the Council by the
engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released
from the contract except as to the conditions of the
performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner,
required guarantees and correction of faulty work after
final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 4 and Final in the amount of
$28,003.22 to Glendale Contracting, Inc. for Deep Well No.
12 - Pumping Facility is hereby approved and the City
Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay
the same forthwith.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Mayor Bergman , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bean. Councilmembers Helliwell. Ricker. ,
Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
