HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-696P CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rezular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day of October , 1990. Ike following members were present: Mayor Bergman- Councilmemhprs Helliwell, Ricker. Vasiliou_ and 9ir„r The following members were absent: None Counrilmpmbpr Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-696 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND TYRELL EIGHTH ADDITION (88136) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated December 21, 1988, Hans Hagen Homes, Inc., developer of Tyrell Eighth Addition (88136), has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: ITEM ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Street Construction $ 74,306 $ -0- Sanitary Sewer 11,639 -0- Watermain 16,109 -0- Storm Sewer -0- Boulevard and Drainage Swale Sod 3,200 800 Pond or Ditch Construction -0- -0- Street Signs 300 -0- Site Grading and Drainage Improvements 22,000 -0- Park and Trail Improvements 7,569 -0- Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts 16,214 _ 6 TOTAL $ 151,337 $ 896 That the letter of credit required for the above items (No. SB 7826) be reduced as detailed above from $22,164 to $896 to reflect the completed work. Resolution No. 90-b96 Page Two FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the bonding requirements for the following items per Section 8.1 of the approved development contract be reduced as follows: ITEM Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning Cash: Letter of Credit: ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT $1,000 $1,000 $10,200 $-0- FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, street construction, concrete curb and gutter and trail construction is accepted for continual maintenance as of October 15, 1990 subject to the one year guarantee by the developer. Letter of Credit No. SB 7829 is hereby released. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmemb r Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman_ Councilmembers Helliwell_ Ricker- Vac lion` , ' and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
