HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-683CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day of October. , 1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell , Ricker, Vasiliou, and 7.itur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-683 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROL SYSTEM ATA C.S.A.H. 10 AND NATHAN LANE CITY PROJECT NO. 812 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Traffic Signal Control System at C.S.A.H. 10 and Nathan Lane bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Design Electric, Inc. Ridgedale Electric, Inc. CSI Electric, Inc. Killmer Electric Co., Inc. $54,179.00 $59,423.50 $63,625.00 $70,360.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Design Electric, Inc. of St. Cloud, MN. is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Design Electric, Inc. of St. Cloud, MN. in the name of the City of Plymouth for the Traffic Signal Control System at C.S.A.H. 10 and Nathan Lane according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the low bid of $54,179.00. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
