Special Council Meeting
January 22, 1997
A special meeting of the Plymouth City Council was called to order by Mayor Tierney at
6:12 p.m., in the Public Safety Training Room, 3400 Plymouth Blvd., on January 22, 1997.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Tierney; Councilmembers, Johnson, Spigner.
ABSENT: Councilmembers Bildsoe, Preus, Black, and Wold
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Johnson, Assistant Manager Lueckert, Public Works
Director Moore, Community Development Director Hurlburt, Finance Director Hahn, and
Deputy City Clerk Hoffman.
Dave MacGillvray and Paul Donna of Springsted Financial Advisors made a presentation
explaining municipal bonds, capital finance, and tax increment financing. They outlined the
City's triple-A bond rating from Moody's Investor Service, and what that means to investors
and to the City.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:55 p.m.
