HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-641t,ITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1st day of October , 1990. The following members were present: , Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur , The following members were absent: None Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90- 641 APPROVING 1990 RECYCLING PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR 1990 COST SHARING WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has continued to provide recycling curbside pickup services to single family through four-plex residents for 1990; and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth proposes to qualify for 80% County Funding Sharing by collecting in excess of 10% of the residential waste stream; and WHEREAS, these total costs for all expenditures in 1990 amount to approximately $377,550. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should and hereby does approve the proposed Recycling Program through the year 1990 and that the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Hennepin County providing for County funding in the amount of $302,040. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell. Ricker. , Vasiliou. and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
