The following were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following i►+ambers were absent: None Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and m7jw its adoption, RE,SC ICN NO. 90-623 ADOPTnG ASSES.SMENr 1990 WEED ERADICATION AND DESTW=CN, FU L 1 WHEREAS, pursuant to pmopex notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments for 1990 Weed Eradication and Destruction, Doll 1 charges as provided by the City Ordinances and has amended such proposed assessment as it deems just; NOW, ZiEREEORE, BE IT FAY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYNOM, NiI1 .�,0►1'A: 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a Part thereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the land named therein and each tract of land herein included is hereby bound to be identified by the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessments shall be payable over a period of one year. 3• Assessments may be paid in full to the City of Plymouth Finance Director by October 31, 1990 without additional charge. After October 31, 1990 daily interest charge based on an annual, rate of 8.00% starting on October 2, 1990 will be due in addition to the levied assessment. The last date a payment can be accepted by the City of Plymouth is November 15, 1990. After that date interest shall be added frau the date of this resolution until December 31, 1991 and payment can only be made to Hennepin County with the 1991 property taxes. 4. The clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county and such assessments shall be collected and paid over the same manner as other municipal taxes. 5. The total cost of the 1390 Weed Eradication and Destruction, Roll 1 charges assessed by this resolution are $1132.52. The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
