HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-620CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 24th day of September _, 192D. The following members were present: Mayor Bergmm, CouncilmemberaHelliwell. Ricker. The following members were absent: Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-620 ADOPTING AMENDED POLICY FOR SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DEFERMENT FOR HOMESTEAD PROPERTY OWNED BY SENIOR CITIZENS AND DISABLED PEOPLE WHEREAS, on November 6, 1989, the City Council adopted a revised Special Assessment Deferment Policy; and WHEREAS, the income guidelines for eligibility to that program are based upon the guidelines adopted for the Housing and Redevelopment Home Improvement Grant Program; and WHEREAS, the guidelines for the Housing and Redevelopment Home Improvement Grant Program have been revised in accordance with the Federal Housing and Urban Development Program Guidelines; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to retain a consistency between the income guidelines. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, adopt an amended Policy for Special Assessment Deferment for Homestead Property Owned by Senior Citizens and Disabled People dated September 24, 1990. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Bergman , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
