HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-617CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 24th day of September 1990 The following members were present: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker,yasilinu, and Zitur The following members were absent:_ None t** Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 90-617 AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION BY THE PLYMOUTH POLICE DEPARTMENT IN THE NORTHWEST METRO DRUG TASK FORCE WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has been requested to join the Northwest Metro Drug Task Force; and, WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth must agree to a 25 percent cash match up to a maximum of $3,428 for the year 1991; and, WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth encourages its police department to work cooperatively with other police agencies in order to increase its own effectiveness.; NOW, THEREFORE LET IT HEREBY BE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA authorizes participation by the Plymouthy Police Department in the Northwest Metro Drug Task Force.. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by CouncilmPmher Zit it I and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
