HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-6126 CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 74th day of SeRr,Qm�jr 1990. The following members were present: , Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur , The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-612 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - 47TH AVENUE AND QUINWOOD LANE WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the residents abutting 47th Avenue and Quinwood Lane from Northwest Boulevard to 49th Avenue requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of 47th Avenue and Quinwood Lane from Northwest Boulevard to 49th Avenue by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on September 24, 1990, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Bergman , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman- Coua"Imembern H w 1, Ricker. , Vasilinu- and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None ' Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
