HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-605CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 24th _ day of September , 1990. The following members were present: Mayor Bergman. Councilmembers Helliwell , Ricker. Vasiliou. and Zitur The following members were absent: _ None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90- 605 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND SHILOH PINES ADDITION (88025) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated March 6, 1989, Nina W. Wildman and B & H Supply, Inc., developer of Shiloh Pines Addition (88025), has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: Street Construction $ 27,142 $ -0- Sanitary Sewer 22,040 -0- Watermain 15,965 -0- Storm Sewer 15,456 -0- Boulevard and Drainage Swale Sod 2,200 2,200 Pond or Ditch Construction -0- -0- Street Signs 300 300 Site Grading and Drainage Improvements 65,000 650 Park and Trail Improvements -0- -0- Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts 17.772 378 TOTAL $ 165,875 $ 3,528 That the letter of credit required for the above items be reduced as detailed above from $23,047 to $3,528 to reflect the completed work. Resolution No. 90- 605 Page Two FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the bonding requirements for the following items per Section 8.1 of the approved development contract be reduced as follows: ITEM Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning Cash: Letter of Credit: ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT $1,000 $1,000 $10,600 $10,600 FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, street construction and concrete curb and gutter is accepted for continual maintenance as of September 24, 1990 subject to the one year guarantee by the developer. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by .Mager Bergman , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, , _and Zi riir The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
