HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-604CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 24th day of September 1990. The following members were present: Mayer Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-604 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED REASSESSMENT OF DEFERRED SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS WHEREAS, by resolutions passed by the council, assessments on certain properties were deferred; and WHEREAS, termination dates specified in the resolution which deferred these assessments on certain properties has been reached; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 1st day of October, 1990, in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed reassessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Bergman , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and 7 i tier The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. .
