HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-582CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of September 1990. The following members were present: , Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker, Vasiliou, and Zitur , The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-582 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT CITY PROJECT NO. 905 WEST MEDICINE LAKE DRIVE TRUNK UTILITIES WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 10, 1990 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: Sanitary sewer service District NC -7 east of West Medicine Lake Drive by the installation of sanitary sewer and watermain trunk facilities, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 1st day of October, 1990 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman_ Councilmembers Halliwell- Ricker. , The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
