HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1990-581CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of September , 1990. The following members were present: `Savor Bergman Councilmembers Helliwell, Ricker Vasiliou and Zitur , The following members were absent: None Counr11MCmber Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90- 581 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT WEST MEDICINE LAKL DRIVE TRUNK UTILITIES CITY PROJECT NO. 905 WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: Sanitary sewer service District NC -7 east of West Medicine Lake Drive by the installation of sanitary sewer and watermain trunk facilities and all necessary appurtenances, and the City's current area charges are: sanitary sewer area - $880 per acre for residential property and water area - $1,580 per acre for residential property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $79,900.80. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be special assessed from such improvement against every accessible lot, piece of parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by the law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by CounellmeMber Vasiliou and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Helliwell Ricker. , Vasiliou. and Z tur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
